Formula E on full size circuits would be unwatchable

Y they don't open the 24 Du Mans and race at La Sharte as a support series. :D No chicanes, since there's no need to reduce the speed for safety.

This race was pretty fun, though:

Looks like whoever is in the USA & most likely Canada as well won't be able to watch the Moscow race live unless they stream it. TV broadcast getting delayed for NASCAR practice.

I've seen it many times. But to have a race on that location is somewhat incredible (I remember in years gone by drawing possible lay-outs around the Kremlin).

I don't ever see Formula E running on the same track as regular racing (not including street tracks here), it's the reason why they're going for a park in the ghetto of London rather than Brands Hatch, they don't want direct comparisons, cos if people realised these things were slower than a FF1600, they'd go watch them instead.

I really don't think the majority of people watching a formula e race notice or even care that much when the action keeps coming thick and fast

And racing in the cities keeps them in touch with the non-traditional motorsport fans this series will need if it is to not be the next a1gp/premier league thingy etc

Andddd the speeds will hopefully only be a temporary problem anyway ;)

what is the policy for driving in the wet?

This is the Saturday forecast -
Quote:
Облачно, небольшой дождь

(partly cloudy with a little bit of rain)

Too early to trust forecasts.

Yeah a decent track for sure. Much better than Monaco and Berlin's efforts.

I think the best FE track so far has been Argentina.

Just kidding, might wake up early to watch this, anyway, looking forward to either see it live or on YT.

I hated everything about Berlin. The track layout was boring, the race was boring and the surface was a poor grip concrete which made the cars very slow.

Hope Moscow will be back to FE's good typical level
