That was one of the best races I've ever seen.

Brilliant work everyone, overtaking to the fore. Some of the moved in that race were the stuff of legend (and not shitty Cockney gangster legend itv, proper legends!)

Btcc always delivers

Jamie Caroline has been (tentatively) crowned Junior champion after a driver was penalized ahead of him. It means instead of 17th, he finished 16th meaning Caroline got the point he needed to win the title. Sennan Proctor is appealing this.

Brilliant final race, most of the races on the day were pretty good, only the second supercup, Formula MSA and Porsches were a bit dull.

Interesting that no one seemed to fight Shedden that hard in the final race - I think Shedden is probably a reasonably popular driver in the paddock as he tends to race pretty clean, I wonder if it would have been as easy for Plato?

Looked like Pluto's tendency to piss off teammates came home to roost over the day too...

I'm looking forward to downloading and seeing these races. Each sounds like a cracker, especially race 3.

Really happy for Shedden. A very deserved 2 time champion. I wouldn't have minded Plato as champion, as it would have been good for Warren Scott and his still relatively new squad. Maybe next year.

A quick comment on a trend with Plato... He never triumphs in his first year with a team and manufacturer, always winning in year 2 and also wins with every other team / manufacturer.... Win with Vauxhall, not with SEAT, win with Chevy, not with MG, win with VW?

Quite frankly, Cole & Jordan should be disqualified and fined for not even attempting to race Shedden, that was bullshit. Having said that, he'd have gotten past them anyway but it's the principle. Props to Jack Goff for actually being a racing driver and holding off what was clearly a much better car. The overall best package won the title, so I'm not disappointed with the outcome.

I haven't checked, but I hope the Junior result hasn't been changed. I'd much rather see Proctor as champion, Caroline's a bit of a dick.

Good outcome in the Clios, Sutton's a very exciting driver to watch. I never thought he'd win the title at the beginning of the year, he really stepped it up at the end. I didn't have Ash Hand down as being such a sore loser. It was pretty shitty how he threw the team under the bus there, especially as he and Sutton are team mates.

The TV director needs to be sacked. We do not need to see the reactions of people on the pit wall or in the garages to understand the excitement and tension of motor racing, you fucking spastic. And my God, the number of adverts was appalling, worse than American TV. They must have been in breach of broadcasting regulations.

Think Cole might have been slowing down for the SC. Should really know the rules by the last race of the season but perhaps down the back of the pack they don't race that aggressively to the boards. Agree with Jordan and some of the BMWs really not putting up much opposition.

I was watching on catch up so adverts didn't bother me so much, the adverts during the SCs did seem shorter than normal, but were still pretty disruptive. The amount of adverts is done on an average through the day, so prime time and high viewership stuff can be full of ads and then programmes at 3am will have none to balance it out. Agree on the director being sacked, it's not often FOM have a better day than the BTCC!

Sheds doesn't make enemies, Plato does. That's why some made it easier for Sheds and yeaa, Cole probably was goofing up for the SC rather then just letting him by.
