Turkington expects to be back to defend his crown:

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2014/10/12/colin-turkington-hoping-to-defend-btcc-title-in-2015/

Shedden has also said he expects to return next year the car being the new Type R Civic. No word on Matt yet, but it does seem likely he may be leaving

United Autosports will build brand new cars over the Winter, so keep an eye over that one

Vauxhall and Triple 8 appear to be a done deal, but until announced..........888 will be back

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2014/10/13/ian-harrison-plenty-of-irons-in-fires-for-a-2015-return/

AMD intend to run 2 cars in 2015

Gio and Menu intend to return in 2015

Airwaves seem to be building a 3 series BMW to run alongside the Focus

Aron Smith is our first confirmed driver for 2015 - which is nice

Marc Hynes and Chris Stockton also intend to return next year - Hynes in an MG and Stockton looks to be building a new car

Tordoff and Plato are up in the air as well. I would expect both to be back, with Plato saying he has 'more than 4 opportunities in the BTCC'

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2014/10/13/jason-plato-assessing-his-options-for-2015-season/

Team BMR are defo back and will be expanding into the Clio Cup

Pirtek will be back, but looks set to have 2015 Honda Type R's aswell.

That's just a few of the rumors that I can think of off the top of my head. Others will shortly appear.

RAR are 99.9% likely to be back in 2015 according to Rob Austin, with Hunter Abbot also looking to return.

Welch Motorsport have also indicated that they will be back.

Rotek - I should add - will also be back with what looks to be two cars.

Simon Belcher has confirmed he is most likely to be back aswell

I should add that Adam Morgan is all but confirmed as well, with the Merc squad moving up to two cars.

And make that a second driver confirmed as Andrew Jordan will drive with Pirtek sponsorship in 2015. However, what I do not know is where yet

I love it when news starts to flow in so quickly. Tom Ingram has confirmed he will be back on the grid in 2015, but the car is as of yet unknown.

Hasn't Mike Bushell said he intends to be on the grid?

Pretty standard for a Clio Champion though.

Not in a works capacity I don't think.

However, Infiniti might be in with a works team

Tordoff looks set to join either WSR or Cicerly in 2015.

Who would be running the Inifinitis? Would be cool if it were RML, because of the Nissan link and heritage.

I think it'd be cool too, particularly since they weren't exactly happy with the way Plato upped and left for MG (and more importantly, took his sponsorship money with him without telling them or giving them time to source a replacement) so might well give him the middle finger if he began sniffing around

But as the best funded driver on the grid (somehow he avoids the term paydriver :p ) I'm sure his money is all that matters.

Sorry but I'm pretty sure all I asked was "who would be running the Infinitis?", as opposed to "I hope Codename goes on another Plato rant" lol

A BTCC without Plato would mean every time I shout about one of his terrible tap and runs on Twitter I wouldn't gain 5 or more spambot philosophy account followers.

Looks like it's Derek Palmer's Pro-Motorsport bunch running the Infinitis? Not sure what they've done since the super touring days.

Official Infiniti announcement.

TBH, it sounds a bit underwhelming. The team hasn't raced at this level for well over a decade, and they weren't really that good then; and the drivers haven't done much in the way of professional racing.
