Josh Buchan ended up wrapping up the title for TCR Australia.

There was a really strange incident for Mikael Azcona, he had a steering issue and his car just drove into the wall coming out of Forrest's Elbow under the safety car. I was thinking he'd passed out when I first saw it because there's no way you'd crash in the way he did if you had control of yourself or the car.

Some of the racing was pretty good but the crowd looked very small, it looked like maybe a quarter of the 12 Hour crowd if that.

I saw the onboard and to me it just looked like he got distracted with something because he didn't even try to turn.

Now time for the running slightly delayed ETCR, which unless it has about 30 cars on its own, I'll be wondering why they didn't run with the last WTCR race

A new series started this weekend, TCR European Endurance. 2-hour races split into 1-hour halves, with the result being the aggregate of the two. Organised by the same people as TCR South America.

Qualifying has already taken place. The races are on Saturday. No idea why this series is being discussed in the WTCR thread, there's a reason no posts were made in 2023... with the exception of this round the World Tour piggybacks other TCR series, so we might as well keep discussion of all TCR-related stuff here, and it's not as if TCR generates enough interest here for separate threads anymore.

The Italian series kicks-off this weekend at Misano:

Well, as a guy who recently started making threads for different racing categories to sort things out I must say that both you're right and wrong. I mean WTCR have no f* clue what they want to do with their lives so they're not helping at all here lol

I guess not many users cares at all to be honest, if I was new user who wanted to post something about WTCR I would probably stick to WTCR and TCR would be for regional series

+1 for a single thread. Multiple threads just means less talk overall.

Plus the WTCR thread was for the now dead series, this new World Tour is a separate entity.

Understand. One of my biggest reasons to stay in different threads was that if I or anybody else was not able to watch some races live, it was easier to just skip one thread with that series instead of full "random" discussion thread. Like for example British GT, which was with many other random categories

I meant in this case when there are only few posts during the entire year.
