If thingy wins the race then I hope the 2nd place finisher does some kind of parody during their interview about how it wasn't a race and getting Gow to explain why the Chevy is too fast.

More realistically I hope Collard gets the BMW off the line and owns that bloke into the first corner.

Anything more on the Clio incident?

According to the official Clio Cup Twitter:

@AirAsiaClioCup Clio
eventful first lap and safety car now out. Bonham spun into the barriers and out of race. Race stopped - barriers being rebuilt

Collard hits Platard, collecting McTwatall putting all three out of the race while Neal wins. That would really piss Platard off :lol:

I think Collard has been a far cleaner driver over the past season or two. I'd still love for that to happen though. :p

To be honest I'd be happy if Collard won the first race after Plato got a cracking start and Neal does a lunge like he did on Shedden at Oulton Park and takes them both out of the race at the first corner :p

Was there, car kept going left after the chicane and thumped the tyres. Didn't see the actual hit because there were more people spinning further behind, but judging by the damage to the car it wasn't that hard (although it did ruin the tyre barrier). Two cars then slid into the barriers at the complex. And at the restart the car third/fourth on the grid dumped a huge amount of fluid as it was sitting on the track, causing a further delay. When they finally restarted the race (as a normal race start) cars were missing from 2nd, 3rd and 4th slots. And their quali was red flagged because of Nic putting it into the barriers at Tower.

Ahh, Clios.

Saw the Wrathall incident too, hilarious! He spun, bounced a bit on the kerbs and the windscreen just popped out. :lol: Next thing, there was a Ford slowly sliding towards him...
