He had his front bodywork hanging out dangerously but with his foot flat he purposely hit the barrier and removed it so they withdrew the back and orange flag. That was what you call precision racing.

Oh wow, awesome. I'm gonna watch it back tomorrow, which races aren't worth watching?

Porsche race was quite dull. All I can remember is the Pro-Am 2 category had a last corner lead change. I'd say that all of them were worth at least skimming through. Formula Renault was surprisingly my favourite support race.

I didn't watch the whole of the F-Renault race, but the Juniors were quite entertaining.

Okay thanks. Sounds like it was a fairly good day, although Snetterton is one of my least favourite tracks so I'm looking forward to Knockhill :D Although Plato will have a massive advantage there :(

Boresche's being dull really isn't a shocker. I wish they'd bugger off and bring back Fiesta's.

Maybe even historic touring cars. Watching the mini's at Thruxton in '97 was awesome.

On Facebook, there was the pic of the Yaytree when Neal spun. People pointed it out and I said it was called the Yaytree and was founded by us in 2009 :p

Watching Race 1 now - Can't help but feel that overtaking chances are limited unless someone runs wide. I think Snetterton needs to have what Brands has - one race on the 300 and one on the 200 (well, the old circuit)

edit: And I swear the commentator in the FR race said 'I bet he's never overtaken a pig before' about Alice

The racing wasn't great yesterday - the Porsches were extremely dull, nothing really happened in Formula Renault, Clios were meh. On the upside the BTCC was decent, the Ginetta Supercup was good and the Ginetta Juniors produced the best race of the day (which you lot wouldn't have seen as it was after the final touring car race).

Other than that, the Agostini viewing area gives good views, the changes to Russell have managed to make overtaking even less likely and the 300 layout is far too long for spectators!

And finally, a couple of vids. Firstly, this was Rob Austin getting spun during Race 1:

Secondly, the Airwaves Focus vs. the ice cream van:

We didn't get to see anything of the first race (except the last lap crash between the leaders), but the 2nd race had overtaking nearly every lap?

I agree with you about the changes though. It wasn't bad for F3, but anything slower than that takes too long to get around.

I'm hoping they do revert to the 200 layout next year.

Well I didn't really see any from The Esses and wasn't near a TV screen so I clearly should have watched that race from somewhere else!

Yeah, it was mostly at Montreal and the infield. :p
