I made Rockingham and Snetterton for the Saturdays. Offered a free pass for Silverstone earlier in the week but haven't heard back since, so not sure how likely this weekend is looking either. It was genuine because it was from a driver, but maybe they've forgotten me. :p

Still, 2 is 1 more than usual!

I'm trying to recall the last BTCC event I attended. Possibly Donington 2003, the late season races.

Aww I don't get the internet in until Wednesday so I'm going to miss sharing the idiocy and cruel jokes with all you lot :(

Can't wait for the races though, Anyone But Plato should be the forum motto this weekend.

(Though wish that due to F1 being on this weekend, the Silverstone round was NEXT Sunday so we could spread what's left of the racing over as many weekends as possible!)

Aww. :( It won't be the same level of fun and idiocy without the usual suspects. :p There does seem to be an awful lot of motorsport on this weekend. I know BTCC doesn't clash with the F1, but they are generally on separate weekends, which I assume is deliberate.

This is probable, but it doesn't matter when the F1 is on at daft o'clock.

For the past two years there has been a triple-header in April similar to the Monaconapolotte 1300. This is comprised of the Malaysian GP, BTCC from Thruxton and NASCAR at Talladega, with a few other minor events scattered in.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Aww yay, I'm a usual suspect! :p

The good thing about Silverstone national is the drivers can give it their all and there isn't that much they can hit.
(I only really remember crashes around the start/finish straight, one in the Clios and that nasty shunt a couple of years ago that ended the season a few laps prematurely)

Unless you're racing Plato, obviously, then expect to be turned around in the middle of the straight!

And Plato got no penalty for one of the worst moves I've ever seen in the series, right?

Hines and Collards moves were pretty dickish too....particularly Hines...now WHERE was Neal supposed to go after he'd barged him off the track, exactly? :o

If Plato actually pulls a move like that again on Sunday, this thread will explode

You know, there are like 100 other drivers there this weekend. :p If I don't hear anything by tomorrow then I guess I'll be watching on TV.
