Solvalla this weekend, a PoS track if there ever was one, but it is in Stockholm so there should be an okay crowd. I planned to go but plans fell through.

So another STCC has come to a close, and with it the TTA era. Good riddance. Richard Göransson won his 5th title, leaving Robert Dahlgren still empty handed. Volvo celebrated their 4th straight double title, which is like celebrating stealing candy from a baby.

Volvo may not be totally out of the picture next year. Swedish GT has become quite a lot better the last two years. Would be cool if they had some kind of presence next year. http://www.touringcartimes.com/2016/09/ ... t-in-2017/

A race in Finland next year might happen. No track is stated, but the V8 Thundercars series, which used to support STCC, ran at the little epic Ahvenisto track this year. Also, a new street race in Örebro is on the cards for 2018. http://teknikensvarld.se/finland-nara-s ... 17-330909/

Sounds like Flash Engineering will stay in the series. That's great if so. His sticking point is that he wants to build and develop the car himself, not buy a complete car from another team. The manufacturer has said yes to all his conditions so far, so it sounds promising.
