The BTCC is taking the short trip from Norfolk into Northamptonshire for the meeting at Silverstone which marks rounds 19, 20 & 21 of the 2010 championship:

Unfortunately the last round at Snetterton provided very little in the way of excitement, but Silverstone promises to be better as they compete on a track more conducive to overtaking. Considering we'd all looked forward to it as our "EPIC ROUND OF MEGA LULZ" since, well, this time last year, it was bound to dissapoint.

It wasn't so bad, there WAS some passing, Fords steaming by people, etc.

Supports were pretty lacklustre but, well, it was still better than a lot of meetings.

Silverstone should be good, I haven't read any announcement about track layout so I'm assuming they never were serious about giving the new track layouts at Silverstone a try? :?

They were always going to run the National Circuit, there was never a plan to use part of the new track this year.

Anyway, I can see a lot of aggressive moves happening at Brooklands now that the gravel trap is gone.

Seriously, it's two massive acceleration zones linked together by two big stops. How can the Fords not win here?

Unless it's wet.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

And Plato has experience of doing that to Chilton just a few years back!

I just really want to see Tom be champ, especially after how crap AON was last season, to see them win the championship would be kick ass, and a big FU to factory Honda and Chevy  :flag: They are the true underdogs this season IMO.

The way Neal looks at the camera at about 0:55 when the woman is bent over right infront of him

And there is definitely a Bro-mance there...

Laugh if you want but if John George drives like he did at Snetterton he could grab some points this weekend!

No laughter here - he was on the pace of O'Neill at Snett. I love seeing him up to speed cos he's such a top guy. Always worth a stopping by for a chat during the signing sessions in the paddock as he's always got time to speak to everyone.

Cool that you noticed him. He was all over Boardman and held off McDowell during race three. I know they were some 30 seconds back but it was really cool to see. I'm not sure why he was driving so good there.

Going to miss the races (live at least) as I'll be on a train all Sunday afternoon. That does at least mean they'll prolly be awesome so you can thank me afterwards. :flag:
