Four races, four T8 wins. Waters went backwards from pole. Mostert with another compromised result. Payne still punching above his weight which is positive. |

Hectic first few laps in race 3, hopefully a chance of a Ford win for once. |

Ford 1-2 take each other out, hand the lead to Triple 8. I have to laugh or else I'd cry. |

Do the other teams actually want to win? Triple 8 don't win as much as the other teams lose. And more time certain BS. Sort it out, Australia. |

Another day, another race where the Fords blew it. This time Mostert locked a brake and ran into Payne sending them both off the road while they were 1-2. Percat took the lead after that and went on to win the race, holding off Feeney and then Brown. |

More bottle jobs, yes, but still the best races of the weekend. |

Yet, they're somehow looking at expanding back into Asia, running alongside the F1's at Singapore, UAE and Bahrain potentially. Someone needs to tell them to improve the racing here first, no point sending a dog shit package overseas. Saying that, I only saw about 1.5 of the 6 races this weekend, and it actually looked alright? |

Sprint races definitely bring more life out of this car and tyre package; the normal pitstop events just suck all the urgency and actual racing out of the show. Unfortunately just seeing the result of 4 Camaro wins, 3 of them Triple 8 will keep a lot of people tuned out. Why did Supercars ever decide that pit stops were entertaining and should be in every race? They need to get rid of them with the exception of the enduros. |

So after everything, Brodie Kostecki will be returning to Erebus from the next round onwards. Quote: “I’m excited to be back behind the wheel again,” said Kostecki. “I needed some time away to prioritise my health. “I’m grateful for the support, privacy and time [Erebus owner] Betty [Klimenko] and [CEO] Barry [Ryan] have given me.” Ryan added: “On behalf of Betty and the team, we are pleased Brodie is ready to drive again. Having Brodie back to work alongside Jack as he becomes more familiar with our cars will be a positive for our entire team.” Looks like the Erebus lawyers must have won. Apparently one of the conditions on him coming back is that he can't show his personal sponsorship from Boost Mobile, probably because its owner criticized Erebus's handling of the situation. |

Juihi wrote: Wonder how long this will last I personally think he'll be heading state side with SVG anyway, he does have experience in the K&N series and 1 cup start. Probably just decided to keep his miles up before he heads off. Sad thing I've only just noticed is we only have two active champions on the grid outside of Brodie, Courtney (2010) and Winterbottom (2015). |

The series is off to New Zealand for the first time in two years this weekend for the first ever round at Taupo. Schedule here: https://www.v8sleuth.com.au/schedule-released-for-supercars-first-taupo-round/ Also there's been some more reports on the Kostecki situation with him making his return this weekend, apparently Erebus threatened to sue him alleging that he communicated with sponsors causing them to pull support. They also refused to let him buy his contract out. https://wwos.nine.com.au/motorsport/supercars-news-2024-why-brodie-kostecki-left-erebus-motorsport-will-brown-barry-ryan-betty-klimenko-nascar-exclusive/032658c2-f72c-44d6-8e7b-9f49bbdb4563?ocid=Social-WWOS |

With Winton not on the calendar, Taupo is the Monaco of Supercars - tight twisty and very hard to pass |
