SVG tries to go around the outside coming onto the main straight but Waters holds him off despite a bit of contact. |

It's so sad that was the last race at Pukekohe. An epic battle between Van Gisbergen and Waters: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8dm313 And i love the sound of engine |

The back is nice, the front has excessive grille syndrome like a lot of new cars. Definitely an improvement over the current Supercar although that's not saying much. |

Chris Pither will be out of Premiair at the end of the year, it's expected that Tim Slade will replace him. Rumours have Coke backing Erebus which would suggest that Pither might be headed there as a co-driver (as Pither has personal backing from a Coke distributor) |

Ludo staying at DJR in 2023 https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/10/19/la ... r-in-2023/ cross-posting from the Random Track/Circuit thread: looks like Calder Park is starting to work on renovations to their dragstrip & road circuit https://autoaction.com.au/2022/10/19/th ... back-trail the combined course featuring the Thunderdome was used for a lapping session last weekend |

About 10 years ago when a friend was racing superkarts at Calder I snuck into the Thunderdome, and was promptly told by staff there "we recommend you do not hang around as there is a Brown Snake infestation on the infield". So suffice to say I'm glad they're fixing it up. If they could get the combined circuits up to a decent level the racing would be better than what QR, EC even Tailem Bend could produce. |

Schedule for the Gold Coast 500 which is returning this weekend after two years. For the first time since the 2000s it'll be a single-driver race although it's retained a fairly similar format with each race being 250kms instead of 300kms. https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/10/14/track-schedule-confirmed-for-gold-coast-500/ |
