Reminds me of the demo races the V8 Brutes ran back in 2000/2001

They only had a few of them and they didn't run smoothly either

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I assume the Aussies don't have such uptight rules on swearing like we or the Americans do?

Could you imagine the reaction if Lewis said the wall scared the shit out of him to Ben Edwards after qualifying? LOL

This is on the Aussie version of the highest tier sky sports package so I guess there's different rules for that vs free to air TV

Also, it's Australia :P

It's like F1 digital back in 2002, I heard more swear words there than i ever did in Motorsport, no-one ever complained, but when it started happening on live ITV broadcasts (Fishichella swearing at someone or other being a big deal I remember), FOM started installing team radio delays

Even on free-to-air I don't think it's a massive deal, back in 2002 when Greg Murphy got that 5-minute penalty at Bathurst he clearly yelled "FUCKING c**t" at an official and the commentators didn't apologise, they just said that he was really angry and cut away.

I've seen "shit" printed uncensored quite a few times on the news website of our equivalent of the BBC too.

Reynolds and Whincup just made contact with Jamie spinning at turn 9. It was a pretty ambitious move by David but Jamie did turn in on him. There was no further action taken by the stewards, I feel Roland may not be pleased.

SVG wins. Courtney takes a surprising 2nd and McLaughlin ends up 3rd.

It wasn't a great race. It turned into a real shitshow with around 20 laps to go before eventually calming down, after one restart there was 3 clumsy accidents in the space of a lap.

A pretty average race there.

When is Schenken going to retire? I thought it was supposed to happen a couple of years ago? There would have been far less damage in that race if he didn't put the safety car out for no reason.
