Good enough day's racing, definately the right results, happy for Neal to be champion and very pleased to see Nash get the independents. Do feel Shedden will be the nearly man for most of his career.

Were all the drive-throughs for exceeding track limits? Were some of them for contact? I'm not happy with decisions being taken that quickly, especially as it then takes those cars out of the rest of the race - if a move is unacceptable I'd much rather the results are corrected afterwards or penalties are applied for the following race.

Will the new FRenault series end up with the BARC cars in it next year? They put on a much better show than FRenault has managed this year

I actually thought the three BTCC races were quite tame and a little bland. Wasn't impressed that much. Results were fair though.

I can't remember the last time a drive through was issued for contact, even in the bad old days.

Race 1 was OK, race 3 was meh, but the second was fucking mental. I'd have liked Shedden to have won the Championship.

Just some comments from being at the track on Sunday:
-The Insignia sounds like a tractor.
-Austin spun coming to the grid for race 1. Quite how I don't know.
-Boardman made a great save coming out of Luffield in race 1 after he broke his suspension, so close to having an accident. Was it shown on TV?
-There were nearly two very bad accidents during the cleanup for the Foster incident in race 2, the marshals were nearly hit by Collard & Byford (neither driver to blame, imo).
-Race 2 was like a NASCAR race at Martinsville, or something. Just absolutely mad.
-Collard must have shat himself spinning down the pit straight in race 3.
-Andy Neate can fuck off, the talentless hack.
-Why couldn't Formula Renault UK be as exciting as the BARC series is when they were using the old car? That was the most exciting Formula Renault race I've seen for years!
-Disappointed about the outcome of the Ginetta GTs, I wanted Breeze to win.
-I don't know whether it's just me, but the first Porsche race flew by (the second dragged on forever, though).
-The Juniors were fantastic as ever. Absolutely top-notch racing  .
-I seem to have an incredibly bad habit of sitting near thick northerners at race events. There was a group of about 6 of them behind me who seemed to have a combined IQ equivalent to that of a peanut.
-People on here would all love it at Silverstone. Everyone cheers for Plato :D .

Yeah I was thinking that, it was manic. Much more exciting than this years FRenault UK, or like you say, even when they used the old car. I think this could have been a consequence of the driving standards not being quite so high.
