2013 BTCC- Mercedes confirmed for 2014!

What they should be doing is capitalising on the popularity of modern and past BTCC by running it on the same bill. However I appreciate there would be a cost implication of being on the BTCC bill.

Motorbase looks like they will enter a 4th car at some stage this year. And it should have the black livery of Griffins car and will be run under the same banner as Griffins' car.

AmD has decided their driver for the Golf - announced next week.

Good. The Jack Sears Trophy will have at least 4 or 5 cars in it.

And looking at the 4th Motorbase seat I would hazard a guess and say that's been filled and we shall hear about it shortly, as they have four entries logged.

I have this bad feeling it's going to be Daniele Perfetti, but hopefully not.

Actually, when I first saw that Motorbase were running a fourth car that is who I thought would be running in it and the fact he isn't doing Brit GT this year meant that that is a possibility.

That is excellent news! It will be great to have James back. He is such a big part of the last 20 years of BTCC history, yet I'm sure quite a few people won't know who he is.

Great news. I don't know if he's been racing over the last few years, but I remember him being pretty quick in some not so good cars. And crashing in front of me at Donington one year.

That's this year's 'out of the blue' entry then. It's always nice to have one of the good old boys out there racing, pretty amazing considering he made his debut all the way back in 1986!
