After the antics of the two petulant (40+ year old) children on Saturday, the racing between the front runners yesterday was pretty clean, bar a couple of minor incidents. Why can't these so called professionals behave this way week in and week out?

Andy Neate: fined £1500 and given three penalty points for an on-track incident in race one and subsequent abusive language

This guy used up the sympathy vote for his Britcar injury long ago. He's a dangerous, nasty piece of work. I have nothing against pay drivers in general (John George is a lovely bloke) but Neate's a disgrace.

I thought Neate's driving at Donington was a little stupid at times but I didn't see him do too much wrong at Rockingham. Why is his fine more than Plato and Neal who also used abusive language?

Think there's a general precedent in racing that incidents during races are more serious than quali/free practice incidents. And we don't know what words Neate used, maybe they were very naughty!

If that penalty was for the Macdowall incident in race one, that's harsh - that looked to me to be 75/25 Macdowall's fault.

Have we had this many penalty's handed out in weekends before? I didn't think anything this weekend was that bad and it wouldn't be good for the series to head towards DTM style penalties

I'd better be careful as I don't want to get anyone into bother but I've heard from marshalling friends and a gentleman who currently works for a BTCC team that the guy is, um, difficult.
