Well it means this:

IF everyone that is confirmed turns up with are looking at a full grid of 32 at each round with at least 3 reserves apart from at the first weekend when people like Stockton wont be there.

But hang on a sec. With Nye being confirmed, we're still not near the 32 car limit, as I'm only counting approx. 25 confirmed. What am I missing / getting wrong?

We are actually. We have 28 drivers confirmed and 31 cars confirmed. And with ES Racing going to announce two cars today (hopefully) that will bring us 30 drivers and 33 cars confirmed.

Remember as well Gow did say he would need to close entries a while back and it seems he wasn't joking or pumping smoke up his arse. He does actually have these entries.

Amazingly, we actually have the most up to date grid going by the ones from Ten Tenths and Wikipedia and such

Clios look to be strong again, as does Ginetta Supercup. FFord looking at 23 cars for the year. Porsche looks like 20-22 and Juniors around 18.

So good grids in all? That's very good news.

I would say it's looking positive. I would gestimate around 20 cars for each support class.

It's pretty amazing when you think about it. Don't these people realise there's a recession going on?

Ah, cheers. I've always liked the guy. Never knew his name though!

Also very surprised that he doesn't like Caterhams. First time I ever saw them was at the old Snetterton. It was 3 wide down the backstraight every lap, and a 6 car train fighting for the win on the final lap. Always get big grids as well. Close call between Caterhams, old school Minis, Legends, and Ginetta Juniors for the best racing.

WSR BMW's will hit the track in the 7 - 10 days. Be interesting to see what they look like.

Right then. I can't hold off any longer, even if official press release should have been finished by now! As it isn't, here we go......

Due to decisions & future relationships with sponsors we won't be out for the first part of the BTCC season.

This isn't perfect as we wanted to continue immediately on with our success from last season, but doing it this way means we will be successful as soon as we hit the track again.

Whilst there are negatives with this, there are many many positives.

I & all within Team ES Racing.com are so thankful for your past support, current & future.

We will be out, just later than we liked.

People come, people go, but there is no "I" in Team ES Racing & the core will always be there :-)

Rob Austin seems to think that the BTCC has 32 cars this year.

So with ES (no I) Racing being part time I assume it also affects Chris Knox's S2000 entry?
