One of the Motorbase cars was seen in a different colour at Snet last week:

It can't be for the rookie tests as those cars were still blue. It is possible a new sponsor has been found.

Also, Chris Stockton will return in a Cruze saloon in 2015

Alex Martin was driving according to sources - someone who has quite a bit of money - meaning Motorbase could run Gio next year and build new cars.

That's the only good thing about it. He was a perennial mid-fielder in Porsches.

Nice livery, though:

For the first time in many years, you can have a BTCC Handbook! The 2014 edition is now on sale

Porsche have announced their calender for 2015. No Thruxton, Rockingham and Donnington with a double header race now featured at Spa in May supporting the WEC. All other races will support the BTCC

Might open up the possibility of some more interesting supports on the meetings Porsches are missing.

That already looks to have been knocked on the head by Alan Gow. He has said that he isn't considering replacing the races to free up the timetable a bit

On the upside that might not be a problem for TV viewers at ITV will fill time with the races that took place before they went live.

On the downside that's going to suck for those who attend at the track, I assume ticket prices won't be lowered to make up for it.

Ouch thats pretty poor from Gow. Btcc ticket prices are pretty low anyway but given most race days already feature a lunch break with no racing don't really need more gaps in the schedule.

Wasn't the Porsches a gap in the "racing" anyway? Pretty sure I've seen it referred to as Borsches many times.

But at least it was something on track and sometimes someone even crashed.

Didn't they have a caravan drive around for an hour at one meeting?

With the Civic Tourer racing in 2014, technically this happened 3 times every meeting...

No. It drove around for 1 lap, with nothing else for the rest of the hour.

Major names like Carlin and Fortec in there. I think we'll know who will be winning the F4 War
