Instead of showing a cricket trailer show the fucking juniors.

Motors TV > ITV coverage

Plato sort of hinting in his interview that his team will be politicking before Donington to get the Turbos slowed down...

Sweet Jesus man, you just won 2 races and finished 4th in the 3rd, if anything its your car that needs its cornering speed pegged back to make things more fair.

Some people are never happy.

BUT, I am, a great opening meeting, reliably great racing in the BTCC, supports could be better but they'll improve over the year I assume...

BTCC is back yeahhhhhh!

That's Plato for you, learnt that from his time at SEAT. If your rivals are better, bitch and moan. Easier then building a faster car.

Seb Morris won Race 2.

TOC: Never had to work so hard for 13th place, loved it though! Its great to be racing again!! @AmDessex did an awesome job on the car, just need to find where our power has got to! We'll get it sorted :o)

You could see at the end the way Smith just drove up to TOC coming to the line. The Golf was well down on power.

I often wondered why he never moved to the WTCC, he'd fit in like a treat over there! :p

Bitching and moaning until the regs are changed is their way of life ;)

Yep, that's also why SEAT quit BTCC, Gow never budged.

Left feeling a little flat by those races, tbh. After all the OMG30CARS stuff there were basically only 20 cars that were on the pace and ready for the event. Meh, hopefully it was just Brands Indy being pretty rubbish that made it an average raceday.

The one good thing is that it hopefully isn't going to be as much Plato's year as it was seeming.

Probably the track tbh. There was actually better racing yesterday then there was back in October.

And lol @ MacDowall, but like someone has said in the comment section, what about Shedden? I think his offences were worse. Maybe Gow & co find MacDowall as mind-numbingly boring as we all do and are trying to give him a bit of a reputation :p

I also felt this weekends BTCC was a little tame by there standards..

Did Shedden not get away with it because the cars didn't spin? (Sorry, I had been awake for 20+ hours and can't remember :P ). But when somebody past Plato in race 3, Platos reaction was to hit the rear of there car anyway, which to me is still the wrong reaction.

I thought the racing was not bad, but not the best or most action packed I've seen from BTCC.

So MacDowall picks up 7 points, whilst everybody else gets away with driving into the back of each other every single race? Shedden's driving in race one was incredibly stupid. Where are his points?

The stewarding in BTCC is the only thing wrong with the series. Was it Nash who lost a win at Snetterton once? Even though he held his line and the car in front drove across him?

Yeah that Nash incident at Snett still gets me riled up when I think about it, hahaha!, it was a definate injustice! But if he can get DISQUALIFIED for that, then surely it's no different to Shedden's driving around clearways (was it against Jackson - I can't remember), but he was lucky not to turn the other car around.

Yeaa that was never a DQ incident, Collard pretty much wrecked himself.

Any vids of the Shedden incidents? I didn't see any of them from where I was sat and Titch's commentary always makes incidents seem less severe than they really are. For example, he said something along the lines of "There's a car that's lost its bonnet", after Declan Jones' crash in the first junior race.

Oh, and you all missed the sight of four or five juniors spinning off at once in the second race  .
