I think out of all the circuits in the UK that don't already have a round, Anglesey is the only one that has sufficient facilities. Accessibility is the problem there.

Anglesey was the circuit I was going to suggest, I guess if the Circuit of Wales happens that might get a round. Can't say I'd want to see any of the other circuits lose a round (except maybe Brands Indy) and can't see further rounds being added to the schedule due to cost.

Was thinking about Circuit of Wales but that's looking increasingly unlikely to ever actually happen. Decisions about it just keep getting put back.

Circuit of Wales will never happen / get built.

On the rallycross track.

There really isn't a suitable venue outside of those already on the calendar to put a 'new' track on.

what about adding Donington GP instead of Brands Indy?

I always thought that the BTCC should have it's first round at the Donington GP track than the Brands Indy. Just always seemed like a good track to open with

Silverstone is a good opener and closer. Thruxton the same. Brands book ending the season is ok but more probably a demand from Palmer than anything else.

Welch Motorsport will not be racing this weekend.

Going back to other UK Circuits, could run on the international section of Silverstone. Which uses the south loop instead of the north. I've raced it myself and its a good circuit, very fast.

Pro Motorsport lose a licence, will run one car for the rest of the year.

Swindon, RML, Mountune, Neil Brown Engineering and Cosworth have all tendered to be the stock NGTC provider from 2017:

Some bid names in this process.

Also, despite what some journalists are saying, the second Para car will not return at all this season and Welch Motorsport are in real danger in losing both TBL's next year.

Lost one with immediate effect. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/120349

Hope they can pull it together with the single entry as it's nice having variety in the field but they've been piss poor in the worst way for over a year and a half with no improvements (they got worse.) Hopefully scaling down to one car will help.

Didn't Welch go with their own engine?

They changed engines before the start of the 2014 season and they've been terrible since. Which is a crying shame as Daniel Welch was making good progress in 2012 and 2013. It seems that since they went to two cars they've stretched themselves.

Hunter Abbott may, or may not be racing at Knockhill after RAR's deal with a replacement driver fell through.

Simon Belcher was scheduled to replace Hunter Abbott at Knockhill, however, TOCA put a stop to him being able to take part
