Don't think I've seen Sheds that angry. Can you imagine if Plato had that done to him? He'd be apoplectic

Most of the time I go OTT in the Plato hate for Comedy reasons, its nice to see that sometimes you're all there with me when he deserves it!

Now I'm off to replay his race 2 crash over and over in my mind to cheer myself up!

There are 4 NGTC Hondas out there.

It's perfectly easy for them to make sure that Plato doesn't finish another race this season.

Just make sure that there's something solid to hit nearby.

You can see he knows he's in the wrong, but he simply can't admit it. He simply can't respect the limits. There's little enough quality in the BTCC as it is without Plato, who simply shouldn't be allowed to be there.

For me it's just the sheer hypocrisy.

Remember last season when he went and slammed doors and blamed other drivers all the time, because he was over-driving after his own team failed to go down the correct path.

Now he has the extra boost for some unfathomable reason and makes moves like that. It's just ridiculous and it devalues the championship. If we want to prove to people that the BTCC isn't just bumper cars, then something has to be done. It's entertaining of course, but that crosses the line when someone who is supposed to be highly regarded quite blatantly forces a rival off the road.

Everything that came out of Platos mouth was so fake. Keeping up appearances being a smug. Is there any alike in motorsport?

Before someone says it (looking at you Ian :p ), I'm well aware there is double standards in regards to who gets spun and wrecked in BTCC races. We all love it Plato gets punted, but hate it when he punts people. But at the end of the day Plato is the only driver on the grid who consistently uses these tactics at every opportunity, and he essentially has the backing of the series to commit these driving crimes, whilst everyone else gets penalised.

Yes there is a double standard, but it is for good reason and as fans, we're justified in being pissed off at watching Plato ruin racing almost every weekend.

/pre-emptive rant.

I also have to say that Andy Jordan is turning a bit precocious. He was really pissed off about a lot of racing incidents and refused to accept apologies.

Yeah, he was being a little bitch about the incident with Newsham. Probably because of all the stuff he's had with Chris James, but that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Love the people on BTCC.net trying to defend Plato, saying that Shedden was driving very defensively and that Plato had come from so far back on the grid.

Isn't that racing?

Oh, and yes Gareth, but you then have Jordan going right into the side of Neal in Race 3, having bitched at Newsham for doing the same in Race 1

Yeah, and it's a real pity - always supported him, mostly because I had a nice chat with him when he was in the Clios. But he is getting into the BTCC attitude now! :p

Quick FEI; Plato was 3 points away from a 3-month holiday before today.

Such a shame. That was a really tense battle between Jackson - Shedden - Plato. They'd kept it so clean for so many laps, and then Plato goes and does that :yuk:

Hopefully Plato gets punished indeed. Even though we've seen him doing worse things, it'd be great to see some action against his typical moves.
