So down to 14 cars then for 2014 although with Onyx yet to firm up their plans. Shame Bamboo can't return to BTCC.

seems like Münnich Motorsport will now get the 2 remaining RML Cruze, drivers will be Rene Münnich and Gianni Morbidelli

they wanted to return in 2015 when more tc1 cars are available, now as bamboo withdrew it seems that münnich will get the cars bamboo were supposed to get

That sucks about Bamboo.

So if Onyx has Oriolo and Münnich are getting the two Chevrolets, that would be 17 entries. That's not bad at all but the sad part for me in there will basically be no chance of anyone else joing the grid throughout the year. It'll basicially be these same 17 cars everywhere?

The WTCC needed a change a some point so this had to happen. It will be very strange without Seat, BWM, and the big 30 car grids at the end of the year. I'll really miss guys like D'Aste, Engstler, O'Young, Boardman, Nykjaer, ... but not Barth.

There will still be people dipping in and out of the TC2 class and probably a lot of Asians at the end of the year. I'd expect around 20 cars or so for most rounds.
