Arguing violently with race officials that you should be allowed to race a car with no lights at all in blinding spray then disrespecting them to the TV cameras when you're rightly told to stfu is most definitely acting like a tosser.

however, they let andrew jordan run without working wipers...you think non-working wipers is safer than no working lights?

What exactly is Arguing violently? All I saw was a pumped up driver talking to Peter Riches.

I doubt Peter would be the remotest bit interested in anything Chris said anyway.

It was probably the fact that they let Jordan out there without wipers that wound James up the most.

it would have wound me up just as much.

it was an idiotic call to pull him.

to play devils advocate, running without wipers only puts yourself at risk mostly, running without lights puts the guy behind at risk totally (see end of 2nd Clio race for example).

They never clarified (well expert Tim tried to, but considering both him and Toby missed Sheddon nearly creaming the turn 1 wall I don't have much faith in anything he says), for all we know, he could have been told to park it for having no working brake lights.

Requiring brake lights shouldn't be a thing either.

Open wheel drivers and stockcar drivers don't have them, and they manage to do fine. All he should need on is a single rear running light at most. If not, let someone on the team put some little blinking light int he rear screen to act as one.

Also in the video that Philthy posted, Chris James with his headlights on in the pit lane, and they go off as he exits.

The racing was fairly decent yesterday but certainly better once the rain came down. Race 3 was my favourite of the day, I thought Aron Smith did a great job against the might of the Honda twins and Plato and to me Matt Neal was a real hero. Not only for racing injured but for his effort in keeping Plato behind him and that wall of death run through T1 with only a couple of laps to go.

Only just noticed that Shedden has won 8 races - that's really impressive

Jordan and Collard doing well this season

No sign of Thorney lately?

They should be at the last 2 events. Maybe.

Any vids of the post-finish Clio incident? I missed it.

Ah man, I'd love to see Gio back. Preferably instead of Neate... please...

Turkington's still working on a 2013 deal so there's hope there. I find it amazing he won the championship and hasn't been back since.

There is now also a rumor going about the Mercedes wants to enter to increase its motorsport involvement. No drivers have been linked.
