That car is fucking gorgeous.

But unlike everyone here i want to see it finish :P now that the brakes have been sorted.

I also would love to see it finish, and hopefully, win it this time.

I think Holden and Ford fans are complete dickheads

Well, that's the bogan factor.

Hope Skaife doesn't crash on the first lap like they did in 2006.

I hope there's a 29 car pile-up, so nobody wins. :flag:

wouldn't that cause a restart?

Could be a re-start depending on how badly damaged some of the cars were. Give them say an hour with the pit crew and see who made it back. Seeing the teams spending an hour with a sledgehammer trying to make the car driveable would be an interesting viewing experience.

I support Ford, but don't care if Holden win, its more I'd prefer HRT or HSVDT not to win. I'd love to see Rusty win in the SCAR Commodore but not Morris. Ditto for Radisich at HSV not Rick.

I'd love it there to be passing showers at the mountain, so that it is slippery but drivers don't pit for wets. This is 1) to cause havoc, 2) to see how Van Gisbergen fly in the wet.

Yeah, but there wont be any cars to restart. They don't have T-chassis

Oh, i thought they would have.

Drivers I want to do well

Ford: Winterbottom, W. Davison, Whincup, Lowndes, Coulthard, Van Gisbergen, Bright
Holden: Ingall, McConville, Holdsworth, D'Alberto, Jason Richards.
Enduro: Radisich, Owen, Macrow

Drivers I don't want to do well
Ford: Pither/Scott as they are driving for TKR
Holden: Skaife, R Kelly, Murphy, Dumbrell
Enduro: -

I agree on the underdog. Any of the single car teams (except TKR who should just fuck off) that are running well I'll always cheer on.

That's if they even bother showing up

Who I want to do well at Bathurst:
Holden: Tander, J. Richards, Holdsworth, Caruso, D'Alberto, Ingall
Ford: Van Gisbergen, Winterbottom, Coulthard, W. Davison
Enduro: Said, Owen, Bargwanna, Radisich, Seton

Who I don't:
Holden: R. Kelly, Skaife, Morris
Ford: Courtney, Scott (and Pither to a lesser extent)
Enduro: Neal

As for underdogs, I was pulling for two cars late in the race last year: the Ritter/McLean 33 car and the Owen/D'Alberto 55 car. I hope there is an underdog I can support late in the race this year as well.

- why the hate for TKR?

Well they are a laughing stock nowadays. Who turns up to the 500 with one engine?

They are throwing money down the drain for no reason.

On my ford side id like to win also Winterbottom/Richards

On the Holden side, Tander/Skaife and McConville/Jones with Richards/Murphy for good reason

I think it's the way they keep jumping ship.

FPR pushes them for payment on their car, Radisich quits citing breach of contract. They find an alternate package for the team.

This year using SBR engines. SBR pushes for payment, they go source engines from elsewhere. According to TKR press release, new engines built by Craig Hasted. Note that David Johns (TKR owner) writes his own PR. According to other sources the engine is ex-WPS stock which is why it lasted two laps at Phillip Island.

Completely unprofessional team. i.e. rocking up to two consecutive rounds without a logbook. I support the premise of TKR, but not under current management.

Atleast theyre trying with what they've got.

I think they should do what is better for the sport and gracefully leave. They are now a crummier operation than most top-flight Dev Series teams.
