Hopefully, but I don't think Citroën will or can be very competitive from the very start?

Any news regarding next year? Will all the current cars or teams stay?

His car is S2000 based which is still permitted in BTCC. Besides, for the amount of money wasted on WTCC this year he could have bought or built his own front running NGTC car.

What happened to Honda's promising pace this season? Seasons already ruined as Mullers already sealed the title.

the cruze is a much better developed car than the civic.

i read somewhere that honda is already working on a new car for 2014 rather than developing the current one for this season.

A couple of shots from yesterday:

A bit of the stand I was in. I swear, a fat guy would break that shit.

Still, pretty packed.

Genius moment: Not lifting the big screen during the WTCC race.

Sweaty Nykjaer:

Muller, as French as he can be:

Chilton, with a bit of a weird look:

Saw many people around the Honda hospitality tent. Guess why:

The winner of the Abarth race must be a fan of James Hunt:

From Saturday, but still found it funny:

The rest of the album is here:

Captions are in Portuguese though.

Gotta love going to 5 of 6 days of racing and not paying a dime. 8)

Didn't feel very safe there. The steps were all made of wood, which was very bendy and the seat supports were all rusty and shaky.

One thing is a short track, which I assume don't have very steep stands.

This is a FIA event, the kind of people that require loads of certain conditions. You'd expect them to at least require metal steps on the stands.

Well the way I see it, is that the FIA and organisors want to give the fans an authentic experience of watching racing at the historic Porto circuit. The circuit is a POS which is outdated for modern day racing, so the stands and other public amenities are exactly the same!

Forgive the bias, but apart from the infrastructures and Engstler hitting the rescue car, both weekends were very well organized, considering it's a street circuit and the amount of categories it hosted. The circuit has improved bucket loads from 2005 or 2007, when it was really unsafe and lacked facilities, and it showed in caotic races and other issues.

I know I can't give much of a comparison, because this is the only racing event I can attend, but saying that it's outdated for modern day racing is harsh. I would put Pau and/or Marrakech at the same level.

Wouldn't be surprised if Citroen hired Muller for the second car, to try and help develop there car asap.

I've just seen the Engstler incident on Youtube. Did Valente receive any penalty or reprimand for his part in the incident?

Probably the best thing about the new regulations:

Quote:
- No balance of performance (various waivers and differentiated base weights of cars).
