Lea Wood's had a very good day, to be honest.

Lea Wood always performed well in that ancient Integra. Nice to see him in something a little quicker.

Sheds is now just four points out of the championship lead.

Sorry but did I see that right? 3 whole races and not one person taken out by Plato?!

My eyes must be playing tricks on me surely.

Looks like I was the only one on here stupid enough to go to Thruxton today...

Loved the sportsmanship of race director of trying to extend Race 1 despite the soaking wet conditions.

Well, Andrew Jordan spun on first corner at race one after a contact with Plato. But this time I don't think it was one of his typical over-confident moves.

The first corner of the first race wasn't Plato's fault in any way, neither was it Jordan's or Jackson's fault. It was an incident based on circumstance and the weather. Jordan was holding a tight line, hit a puddle and got a little sideways. It was just unfortunate.

Nope, I was there too :p We were sat in the complex, and it's by far the smallest crowd I've seen there in all the years we've been going. It was biggest during the first BTCC race and people gradually left from then on. We considered leaving at one point but ended up staying the whole day out of sheer stubborness!

But yeah, definitely would have preferred to have seen the racing from my sofa in hindsight. Not only was I soaked to the bone and absolutely freezing, but I couldn't tell what the hell was going on as the wind meant I couldn't hear the commentators  Just read through the thread - I had no idea why race 1 was red flagged, and didn't know anything about Griffin's or Bushell's crashes. All in all a fairly unpleasant day!

Nutters. The pair of you.

It wasn't a great day of action was it? Fairly tame, a few good moments.

Anyway, this is MEGA

I was also there. Complex as well and you're right, been going since 1999 and that was by far the fewest people I've ever seen there. Not surprised though. I was seriously questioning my own mentality at about half past 3...

My Dad wanted to go home, but I like touring cars too much to leave early and I wasn't prepared to watch 50 quid go down the drain :D . It really was a mud bath, the ice cream van even got stuck!

Great lap ... the commitment through Noble and Goodwood is awesome.

I hadn't yet seen that pole lap. I had no idea how much correction was required in the front wheel drive cars. They often look so planted from the outside shots. Awesome.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Through Allard and Noble it was amazing.
