Dale Coyne went through the same music chairs a couple of years ago, it seemed to allow the team to regroup and Bourdais was a championship contender until his injury. I wouldn't right them off just yet.

Every other team in the category seems to be capable of finding drivers who have had strong results in at least the second division and sticking with them. Meanwhile LDM started out the year attempting to run two pay drivers, a high schooler who's only been racing cars since 2014 and who finished 17th in the points in his one Dunlop Series season and a guy who has run in that category for three full seasons now without a single top-10 finish. Nobody in the series has looked as uncompetitive as LDM has this year since Team Kiwi probably, and they died about 10 years ago now.

In other news, people may be pleased to know that Mark Skaife has the flu and will not be commentating this weekend.

That is very nice. I like how they've replaced the yellow dots beside the 9 with Penrite logos, that's an amusing touch.

Though if you read the article it says they won't actually be using that exact livery.

That's a cool livery.

I like the v6 sound, makes a nice change and reminds me of the 635 BMW days.

Red Bull's retro livery for Sandown (that's not based on any particular car but is apparently inspired by various HDT cars from the late 60s-early 70s):
