These 25 laps are way too short. Should be 40 laps, so tyres become important.

The racing may be lacking but loving the strategic element to this race. Safety car has really thrown a spanner in.

Davison wins. The early part was a bit boring, but it got a little bit more interesting later on.

That was also another terrible race for Whincup.

Foxtel made a big play for the V8 rights and they're finding out that it's not worth much.

I know when I cancelled my Foxtel over a year ago, they told me "We're getting the V8 supercars!" as a way to try and persuade me to stay.

But nobody is going to pay all that money just to watch one thing. It's a drawcard on free TV, but not on pay tv.
Besides, the series isn't exactly must-see entertainment. I just wait for the highlights on One later at night.
