Great racing the entire weekend. Feared a Whincup walk-over, but in the end the field looks quite close. Did not enjoy his last lap move, but I guess that's a last lap deal. If that had happened earlier in the race, it would probably been a penalty.

RIP Leo Geoghegan

Can't imagine cheese will enjoy the environment as much as tekno which suited him well, but his championship chances will be improved. Scary thought for everyone else.

Chris Pither subbing for David Wall in the 2nd Volvo this weekend as Wall recovers from burns suffered on his right foot just after race #1 at Adelaide

More rumors going around that GM is looking to use the same turbo V6 that is in the Cadillac ATS-V GT3 in 2017 for the new Commodore once the new regulations are allowed

V8 Superview isn't going to have any streams for this weekend (as expected from past seasons due to V8SC TV not doing the production of the event). Looks like the only TV coverage at this point is going to be on FOX Sports in Australia

Channel 10 are almost guaranteed to broadcast it as well, considering they have full day coverage of the Grand Prix on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Not the action packed race I was expecting. Hopefully it picks up in the next one.

Yeah a lot of cars close together, but little in the way of overtaking. I think these cars are more suited to smaller tracks with short corner radii.
