What the fuck just happened in Super2. On the restart there was several cars damaged and one car even spun out before they even got to the startline. And then there was mud all over the road on the second time around going into the first chicane and two or three cars ploughed into a stopped car on the outside of the track because they literally couldn't turn the cars. Actually wondering if there might have been some oil on the track.

Final race is go, it was delayed a bit. And there's been another pileup at the first chicane, four cars got damaged but all got going. Davison leads end of lap 1.

Pretty crazy second lap, SVG and Davison went side by side all the way down the back straight and through turn 6. Davison held him off but SVG got him going into the final chicane and Davison then got climbed on by his teammate coming onto the main straight but kept going while Anton had to pit.

Shane wins, he seems happy too. Championship could be won at the 1000.

Holdsworth will not be on the regular grid next year. He was already going to be replaced by Matt Payne and he's decided not to try and find another full time drive.

Schedule for this weekend's final round at Pukehohe.

I think there should be coverage today although there is no racing until tomorrow.

The Historic Touring cars are pretty interesting this weekend. Greg Murphy battling for the win in a Sierra RS500 with a Nissan Primera Super Tourer. There's actually quite a large number of Super Tourers in the field, I didn't realise there were so many in NZ. There's a few other Group A cars as well as a couple of Group C touring cars and V8 Supercars and what looks like a ETCC Ford Capri.

Good race there, except the director cut away right before the end.

This Formula Ford race is hairy - they have these historic cars 10 seconds a lap slower with gentlemen drivers who nearly caused an aeroplane crash
