Makes sense.

I saw a statement from Lloyd today which said the results that the team had achieved caused a few sponsors to withdraw, so by that it would appear his departure is about budget.

Yeah I saw that too, a confusing state. But the logical assumption is that if sponsors pulled out because of performance (probably performance clause related) then he doesn't have the balance of budget to end the season with 888.

Cook may wish he'd stayed in the Ford. The MG has been awful with the updated RML kit.

Some good news after the horrific Croft accident. Jeff Smith has been released from hospital and will continue physio and recoup back at home

Unfortunately, it didn't last long. Jeff's back in hospital

He's back home again but it looks like he'll need shoulder surgery.

So might miss a couple of events depending on how the surgery goes and healing.

Davenport has started physio and is on his road to recovery. He spoke on yesterday's Tin Top Tuesday and appeared positive.

Brett's a good wee driver, so imagine that it will take a while to get sorted and used to the cars but he'll do a very good job once that's sorted.

Not surprised by that. He's had a pretty good run recently in MINIs.
