Same old T888 1-2 in Race 2. Feeney won.

Randle won the Mustang B-class in 10th. Obviously TV doesn't even say a word about parity...

parity only gets discussed when a certain team is not happy with it

Well, you can't expect Skaife to say anything about it but Crompton was a former Ford man after all. Larkham who only raced Fords IIRC is simply a goofball in the pits out there.

Kostecki (championship leader) in big trouble on lap 1 of race 3.

He's back out and should be classified but he'll be a few laps down.

And now a 5 sec penalty for Brown for bump n running Winterbottom. FFS.

Le Brocq is still the effective leader after 22 laps.

Le Brocq wins! First ever win for Matt Stone Racing and the first win for the Stone family since 2012.

Waters wins the Ford Cup.

The ABC reported that the drag racer who crashed yesterday (Kelvin Lyle) is in a critical condition, though according to a FB post I found it doesn't seem to be anything life threatening at this stage. (broken ribs, possibly back injuries and some bleeding in the lungs)

The series has triggered a parity review. Guess they realized people watching this sport ain't no idiots and Camaros taking the first nine places in one of the Darwin races looks as ridiculous as it actually is.

The Townsville 500 is this weekend with two 250 kilometer races. SVG has won 7 of the last 9 races here including both races last year, will he be able to follow up his win at Chicago and claw back his 110 point deficit to Brodie Kostecki?

He will possibly be facing a stronger Mustang challenge as improvements have been made to the rear aerodynamics of the Ford after the Camaro whitewash that's occured this year.

A good potential for a drinking game when commentators mention the words "NASCAR" or "Chicago" this weekend ;)

A shot when they mention it, then finish the bottle when Skaife or Cromley claim credit for it or make it about themselves.

Edit: Ministry of Sound are playing at Townsville, more exciting than any of the racing going on.

But this fight for the lead is awesome

Shane with a huge dive on Brown at turn 1 and it didn't work out, they both ended up losing positions and Shane got forced wide later and ended up dropping to 14th. Waters now leads.
