Isn't this just a repeat of 2013 and 2012?

Only this years Honda doesn't quite have the cornering advantage it used to.

True but Silverstone national circuit has never had any corners that the Honda Civics could use their advantage on.

It is why they're not in the championship hunt though. They've not been given a boost break either.

Elsewhere, there was plenty of drama throughout the field, not least for Dave Newsham. The former Clio Cup champion lost control of his AmD Tuning Ford Focus on cold tyres exiting the pits, and hit the wall. Newsham returned to the pits with heavy front-end damage, and took no further part in the session.

The Hondas have never gone that badly at Silverstone. If you look at their past results, they're mostly top 6-7 finishes with a fair amount of podiums, including a win. This year's car just isn't as good. Of course, the boost level doesn't help, but that's just the way it's worked out this weekend.

Knowing Neal, that last comment probably wasn't tongue-in-cheek.

Even the old style Honda is struggling when the top 23 are within 1s!

The boost is a joke. MG have too much, Honda not enough.

Jeez, Plato really does just moan all the time doesnt he? Gordon was saying he's going to give it everything in the last races, but Jason says he's pretty much given up on beating Turkington because he doesnt have RWD. Wankstain.
