Isn't the boost related to the previous races lap times?

I remember them saying something about because it rained at Rockingham (where they'd already had a boost reduction), the Honda's were not as far off the pace as expected so were effectively penalised again with less boost at Silverstone as a result, but because they were so far off at Silverstone thanks to that double penalty, they'd get a massive boost at Brands this weekend?

I think it works something like that, and because Nash is so crap laptime wise, the boost reduction for the MG team is never that much (because the difference between a good Plato lap and a good Nash lap is measured on a calender rather than the tenths it is for the two Hondas).

I can't remember it exactly but I think it's some complicated average lap time across all the team cars versus the fastest average of the race is used to calculate the boost levels at the next event.

I don't understand it either.

The list that Plato posted states that the MG's boost will be 0.025 bar above the baseline, whilst the Honda will get 0.050 bar.
