For some reason I never got that from Neal. I never was a massive fan of his, but even during some of his crashes you got the impression it was a genuine overtaking attempt that had gone wrong instead of Plato-esque deliberate punting off. Still, I actually get to be in a BTCC thread for this week, and great that we're actually getting some motorsport not too scared of the Olympics! Every year we get our hopes up about Snetterton carnage again, but THAT year was pretty unique in that every race that day was amazing...even the Porsches! What are the chances of that happening again? (Particularly now they've changed the layout....) In ur threads pointing out your background weirdness since 2009.... |

I dunno Codename, I always felt it was the other way round. Neal seems to have used the "I'll just nudge you up the back slightly under braking to make you go wide so I can nip through" manoeuvre more than Plato over the years. |

I would question that Seriously, don't put any money against Plato being the BTCC driver with the most amount of contact, you'll lose your house in the end |

I'm just totally uninspired by Snetterton's changes. The old track rocked. It was unique, shabby and brilliant. The infield section is just a bit meh. Hoping it'll be a fun weekend. Didn't see much of Croft. |

Neal has the tap you sideways and nip through while Plato's always been barge his way through. Neals mostly been harsh but fair but Plato's been mostly bully/whiner. Plus I have heard Neal apologise at least but never Plato. |

Didn't see much of Croft. I just saw an Open F3 race on Youtube (think it's on Motors too but..meh) where they overtook a lot in the new section, and that's F3.... Still, if this meeting ends up rubbish we should set the Yaytree on them until they put it back to the 200 layout. (TBF, Gow said that the layout would be switched back if the racing didn't improve so we'll see what he has to say on Sunday night...) |

I don't want to hope for uber sucky racing If the Valencia Street Circuit can play host to one of the best F1 races in years, there's hope for every track. Except Yas Marina and Bahrain, of course. |

You wouldn't see what Neal's done as you've been too consumed by Plato hatred for so many years Funnily enough on old TBK it was more about the Muller hating back then. Muller, Plato, Neal, Collard, Reid, and they said 2000s BTCC didn't have enough personalities. (If by personalities you mean "people to hate" ) |

Yeah you're pretty much on the money there. Whereas in the 1990's it was all about the young guns and the older personalities. |

I can think of Neal having a few questionable lunges at Clearways over the years, but I can't think of him ever deliberately spinning another car at 100mph in front of the entire field. The hating has started already. + Yes to the 200 layout. It takes too long to see the cars on the 300 layout. |
