Whaaaat? They just trying to hand this to Plato?

I'm sure there's a logic but it honestly doesn't make much sense to us, the mere fans on the outside....

Everything's calculated using a pre-determined formula. Adjustments aren't made arbitrarily.

Looking forward to BTCC at Oulton, although boost increase to help Plato will make it difficult for the 4 civics.

Anyone who honestly believes that is a fucking idiot and needs to stop watching motor racing immediately... or go and join btcc.net.

I thought they're the ones who are the sycophantic Plato supports to the detriment of any other team or driver in the series? :?

It used to be Plato fan central with the odd Neal and Gio fan dotted about (and Gaara), but it's much more 50\50 nowadays.

I think his actions last year burnt through a lot of credit with a lot of fans.

---------------------

As far as the boost is concerned, it does seem peculiar. The Hondas already had the least boost available to them, they weren't dominant in any sense in terms of speed; and so everyone else gets another speed boost why?

Protip; the reason why Dynamics keeps winning is because they build and run the best cars, with two of the best drivers. You could probably ban them from running turbos completely and they'd still find a way to win.

I can see why Andrew is annoyed because his team's cars are not as competitive as the Dynamics cars and they will get hammered this weekend because of it, unless it absolutely pours it down on Sunday.

No-one does believe it, it's just tongue-in-cheek humour. ;)

Of course we know how the system works. Of course we know that every driver other than those in Hondas are benefitting.

Well, yeah, but every time something about regulations is posted, it gets replied to in that manner. It's just tiresome, really.

There are people who believe that to be true, maybe not on here, but there are. (Although, I do hear that at circuits, mostly, but they're filled with the sort of crash loving vegetables who shouldn't be allowed to interact with society.)

But I'm always furiously tweeting my rage against Jason!

I guess I'm lucky I haven't been tracked down and lynch mobbed due to my Plato rants!

I agree, it is something I detest but am clearly guilty of doing. Although there is an attempted (and failed) irony in my attempted humour.

I just hope the boost increase can help someone like Dave Newsham get a win.

Then again, when has a recent regulation change ever gone against Plato?

Exactly why people think that why, it always seems to go in Plato's favour.

I'm sure he'll argue every one of them, because each one wasn't enough of a change and needed to be a bigger penalty or boost or whatever it was...

Maybe Alan Gow just really hates Steve Neal....

Sniff Petrol ‏@sniffpetrol
Press release headline of the week: "Tesco petrol filling stations honours sandwich fan Jason Plato with his own specially created sandwich"

Sniff Petrol ‏@sniffpetrol
Disappointingly, it's not a potato sandwich.

Today Tesco is launching the "Jason Plato" Sandwich. The new sandwich will feature unique flavours and fillings not seen (or tasted!) on the shelf before which mimics Jason Plato's personality. Between two slices of bread you'll find smoked ham that's past it's sell by date and sour coleslaw both teamed with a poor mans subsitute for mayonnaise.

To celebrate the launch of this sandwich Tesco will be providing free antacid and toilet paper with every purchase of the "Jason Plato".
