Todd Hazelwood's livery.

Simona's livery looks nice.

Speaking of Simona, Prodrive has signed David Russell (her previous co-driver) to their team. I suspect it's a swap with Garry Jacobson (who recently got announced as being a driver for Matthew White's Nissan Super2 team). Matthew Brabham has also been announced as the co-driver for Lee Holdsworth.

Wait, so they'll actually be racing with open trays?

I don't think a tray cover would make much of a difference aside from being an extra part to break in a crash and maybe being more aerodynamic but that's going to be bad regardless.

I'm just surprised as even the old brutes ran with tray covers, and they were great for sponsorship real estate.

McLaughlin's crashed at the test day, apparently a 2017-spec tyre let go on his car.

There will only be 10 of them there though. From what I've read elsewhere they've had a bunch of cooling issues and shit which they may not have sorted out either.

I forgot this was a full on championship round this weekend

Finally, no more holding back

(which considering some of the racing and incidents we've seen already for the Supercars when it was just an exhibition race, is saying something)
