Agree with pimmy.

The article on autosport mentions Turkington and BMR had a turbulent end to the 2016 season. What are they referring to?

That's what I thought, but like you said there wasn't anything public at the time or after so it made the comment in the article very random with no context to back it up.

Glad to see Cook get a seat for 2017. How many seats left to fill now? Seems like a lot of the grid is complete.

Wasn't there issues with team orders with Plato not wanting to support his championship push, or am I thinking of the year before? :?

That also makes it 5 official manufacturers in the championship and hearing there are a few more looking at 2018.

Also like the fact that this is really a full works team as BMW are providing significant funding to the project. Looks like that's why Turks could leave BMR with a smile. Think he will be really in with a running of the title

I just hope the manufacturer interest doesn't drive costs up again like it did in the super touring era. The reason current BTCC is arguably the healthiest racing series on the planet (IMO) is because it's somehow managed to encourage manufacturer diversity while keeping costs low.
