The Clios should pull the same trick as the Porsches then, let older models run as class b (and C, and D) with gentlemen drivers, at least the grids would be filled and they'd spin off and bring out the safety car keeping the races closer...

Support races haven't been very good this year :( Juniors are a bit crap, G50s never excite me and the Clios are a bit rubbish

Though conversly, if we'd been watching just the Saturday races, it'd be the best ever year for all series!

The G50's are at least much better then the Boresche's. New Ginetta Jr cars aren't as good and Clio's have lost too many cars :(

And Formula Renault is well being Formula Renault minus the SC fuck ups they used to have.

10 races
10 poles
8 wins

Clios are crap this year. Give them all a BTCC car.

Needs more Legends, Caterhams, FFord and The Dunlop Sports Maxx cup or whatever the Production Class became once it was thrown off the BTCC bill...

Also what is it about the Clio Cup that makes it so easily dominated?

In theory it should be the closest championship on all the BTCC bill, but this is the second year this has happened... :(

If money wasn't such an issue with the credit crunch (hopefully things will improve by 2012) the BTCC grid would be awesome:- we may well have had:

Airwaves BMW: Kane, Jackson, Adam
Honda: Neal, Shedden, Thompson
WSR: Turkington, Collard, Neate
Chevrolet: Plato, MacDowell
888: Giovanardi, Glew, Nash, Lloyd
Sunshine: O'Neill, George
Forster: Forster, Depper
Aon: Chilton, Onslow Cole
CGR: Wood
Pirtek: Jordan
TH: Hamilton
Amd: Hollamby
Pinkney: Pinkney
Special Tuning: Boardman
Seat: Adam Jones

That would be an awesome grid and it could happen

If money wasn't an issue, Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton would be driving in the series
