BTCC wasn't brilliant and the supports ranged from insipid to dreadful.

Not a very exciting meeting.

Nice to see Austin get a win but nothing else too remarkable happened. Safety car in race 3 wasn't the BTCC's finest moment, looked to me like they moved Collard's cars a couple of metres then gave up!

Been up late a few nights running so just decided to sleep in then watch the BTCC races on one of the Justin TV streams that records the races and leaves them online - found a 6 hour one that let me watch the Clios and Ginettas too.

Pretty dull overall, all I saw was that Austin took the most popular victory of the season by a factor of 10, Plato still can't pass a car without ramming the back of it first, Klos is still fucking useless, the Porsches should be immediately cancelled and that Andy Neate's accident-magnet is still working very well indeed.

Brilliant meeting.

2 cracking Porsche races (yes I just said that). Ginettas were dull. Clios were a let down both yesterday and today. 2 cracking BTCC races (race 3 was dull). The main stand went mental as Rob Austin grabbed 3rd in race 1 and then won race 2.

I enjoyed the BTCC races and while there weren't battles for the lead, i didn't find them as dull as others are making out here. Am I missing something?

Ironic, isn't it? I know it wasn't his fault, but this still proves that Andy Neate literally is a pain in the arse to everyone else competing in BTCC.

That's a painful injury. Hope he gets well soon.

The first Porsche race was remarkably good with so few cars competing. The second was interesting but I'm amazed at how unintelligent some people are, a couple of people behind me couldn't even keep track with what positions drivers were in... in a 7 car race. I suppose it's a good thing that the BTCC doesn't have pit stops if that's how dumb the average spectator is. Those guys also thought that Tim Harvey was doing circuit commentary.

There was an altercation in the paddock between a couple of Clio drivers after their race. Anyone know who?

Tom Ingram was sensational! That was easily the most dominant performance I've ever seen live, an incredible drive.

Will Palmer's finally learnt how to win a race, even though he nearly threw it away. I was quite surprised.

Formula Ford was Formula Ford, nothing to write home about.

Of course, the best moment of the day was Rob Austin's win. Everybody, without exception, was cheering for him. That's what you get for being the coolest mofo in motorsport.

Finally, has Lea Wood's car always been that loud? If it has, why have I only just noticed it?

To answer my own question, one of them was Josh Wakefield. He's been disqualified from the entire meeting.

I asumr that was a result of that collison he had. Why turn it into a fight though?

I must get round to watching the pre race stuff on ITV4 and see how they edited his interview post qualifying. Easily the most funny thing I have ever heard.
