Anyone got a vid of the wreck he caused at Silverstone that got him suspended?

Yep that's the one. That was the race where they got fed up with the driving standards.

I originally thought that Swanwick was sitting out the last part of the Clio season to save his budget for the BTCC. I was wrong; he's actually serving a 3 month ban for having 12 points on his licence :yuk: . And there are people on here who think MacDowall's bad...

He's been banned again! Damn, he really is a hideous driver.

I really fear what will happen if you let Swanwick loose in a BTCC car. It's obvious, at the age of 17, that he isn't going to have matured sufficiently.

The BMW looks alright, nothing fancy. Hopefully these drivers mean a huge grid in 2012 :p Seriously though, a lot of the current drivers will stay as its only the first year of the first rules, plus another few teams are coming

The worst thing for us is that Swanick has grown up watching the antics of Neal and Plato. It's the BTCC version of everyone at your local karting track trying to drive like Michael Schumacher.

And he's going to make them look like good clean drivers. Plato taking out Neal at Snetterton has nothing on what he did at Silverstone last year.

Bad role models helps to breed bad newcomers.

I'm glad I moved to the other side of the atlantic now. At least I'm a safe distance from the catastrophy. And I've just got through hurricane Irene. That seems like a gentle breeze compared to having Swanick on the BTCC grid.

Swanick terrifies me, but I do fell that Gow and Allam will either ban him from the championship or take away his license for good. They will hopefully sort him out.

And they're always worse than their role-models...

Let's hope he doesn't kill someone first.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Looks like we will have a grid of 25 cars for Knockhill, which is a pleasant surprise

Nice! :p A pity that we're down 2 support series this weekend, but 25 cars is very good to see. :)
