Not a fan of the new Snetterton loop but at least it gives spectators a chance to view from the 2nd corner. Pretty sure that used to be out of bounds. Maybe we can even climb the tree from there!

A few snippets from Motorsport News:
- Nick Foster (former British GT racer) tested a WSR BMW at Brands Hatch ahead of a potential move to the BTCC
- Tim Bridgeman tested a Motorbase BMW alongside Ben Collins & George Richardson. Dick Benetts was impressed by Bridgeman and thinks he's perfect for BTCC. Driver line-up to be announced before Christmas
And get this...
- Fabrizio Giovanardi could return to the series alongside Jason Plato at RML as paddock rumours suggest that he wants to compete in a full season and if he can't do the WTCC, he would do the BTCC.

I don't think we'll see Gio back tbh. I think that's just optimism. Seems to conveniently forget Superstars where he's been doing well

That has to happen, although I'd have thought he'd stay in Superstars.

I don't know if Plato would have some sort of veto though, and even if he didn't, it's based on a rumour that he could be involved in RML's WTCC project. (?)

Gio was due to be part of Chevy's WTCC project in 2010 to replace Larini, but as we know that drive went to Muller. It would be epic to get Gio back in the BTCC, even better alongside Plato.

I think that looks a lot better than the G50. More aggressive.

I think, going by these comments made in the Sun newspaper we can safely assume Tom Chilton will be back next year with Team AON.

Looks like we may see another manufacturer back in the series - on a independent basis mind you - as there are rumors a team is looking to enter two Audi A4's in 2011.

Also, there are some confusing messages about Aon next year. Some state that they will run their 2010 spec Focus in 2011, but others are now claiming that in fact Aon will be running the new Focus for Ford. The only way this will be confirmed is when we get an official announcement from Aon or whoever has been selected to race the new car (888/WSR possible?)

Good news. The article states that he is using Dave Pinkney's car from last year. This can mean two things. Dave's retiring or moved on to a brand new car for 2011.

Pinkney seemed pretty pissed off at driving standards this year so maybe he's giving it up.

Johnson's sold his dinosaur to someone in Dubai, so we'll probably be seeing him in something else next year.

I hope so too but given he's been running on a shoestring for such a long time then you have to wonder whether he can afford a new car.
