lol

Everytime there is to be a "major announcement", it's something silly like that.

Am I still the buzzkiller?

No. It's bloody stupid to say that's a "major announcement."

Ouch! 8O

He's lucky to still have a leg by the looks of it.

You cannot criticize his lofty ambitions, but they do seem rather far fetched considering the car has only just been finished and Snetterton was the first time the car ever properly turned a wheel in anger

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/109188

However perhaps he should temper his ambitions, afterall I'm pretty sure he predicted in 2011 that he'd be able to win with Ford and was confident in 2012 that being partner to Plato would help his driving quality reach the next level. I suppose that latter was true, but not in the way he expected.

If he manages that I will eat my scrotum. That is how confident I am of those results not happening.

That's gone very quiet, so I'm going to assume he wont appear this year.

Also, Robb Holland appears to not be in the Insignia for Knockhill as Gilham has suggested that the car is free or the next two rounds.

Joe Girling wasn't at Snet. He has said that he will be back for Knockhill and the reason for his absence from Snet and that we will find out soon the reason why. I reckon this could be another guy moving up to a NGTC car.

From Legends and one VW Cup event straight into touring cars? That's way too big of a step up. He'll struggle massively.

He's pretty fast over a single lap in the legends from what I've heard of him but to jump straight into a touring car is going to be a wake up call.

Maybe there's a chance that if he's spent all his life going around Knockhill, he's seen a bit of a ringer with expert circuit knowledge and they'll work on someone more permanent for Rockingham?

Or he brings money. There's always that.

Nick Tandy was going to be the 3rd driver for Motorbase. He has now decided against driving:

Definitely money. He's only been running at Knockhill/motorsport at all for about a year.

In "more deserving Scot but with much less cash" news, my buddy Chris Knox had a test in the Hard Insignia today. He's hoping to get the funding together to do one of the last events of the year in it.
