I like it. Testing's no substitute for race pace.

It's designed purely for fuel economy...there's no power advantage. They'll still get eaten alive on the straights.

Andy Priaulx and Mattias Ekstrom will be the drivers of the Xbox One car. Love the paint scheme.

Everyone is saying put Stoner in the car. I think Stoner hasn't done a lot really.

These two drivers are two of the most successful and highest rated touring car drivers in the world. A very good choice. Not someone who's pretty much doing a Wayne Gardiner.

Stoner is not doing a "Wayne Gardner" (get the spelling right). Gardner won the first ever V8 Supercar race, just remember that, and finished in the championship top 10 for 3 years in a row. If I can recall, he was leading Bathurst one year until he span and crashed on someone elses oil.

I was at that race, a freezing cold night out at Calder. He smoked the field that night. 2000 he was on pole for Bathurst, His Donut King car was way out in front one year but the engine shit its self dropped oil everywhere at forest elbow and he got cleaned up by someone caught on the oil.

Give Stoner some more development time and he ll be ready in a few years.......IF his hearts actually in it to begin with.

What time does the race start, and is there a stream?

Well, it ended up being a Triple 8 1-2, with Whincup/Dumbrell winning after taking the lead with about 10 laps left. Davison ended up 3rd, with Holdsworth driving well to come home 4th & Courtney came home 5th. The only major incident occured to Ash Walsh, who crashed car #12 at the left-right at the end of the backstraight.

I don't know what the Shannon's nationals are, but it's at Philip Island and seems to have a variety of series on the bill.

Currently there's a production touring car race showing.
Here's a stream

Also: it's wet as balls out there ;)

As the name suggests, it's basically a lower level national championship, that encompasses a lot of series, from superkarts to V8 Touring Cars (which are basically the third level of V8 Supercars.)

Austin gone from next years calendar, but possibly back for 2015. Sydney Motorsport Park back for 2014.

As usual the season gets of to an interesting start in Adelaide then gets bogged down till the enduros with the exception of Pukekohe.

Tasmania, Winton, Perth, Hidden Valley, Townsville, Ipswich, Eastern Creek I don't know about anyone else but bore the living shit out of me.

Good to see Eastern Creek/SMP back next year. This new CEO seemed adamant on getting it.
