All touring car series should have a Volvo in them

Volvo has a long history in Australian touring car racing.

They have won the championship, they have won the Bathurst 1000, and also can lay claim to being the last make of car to enter the Bathurst 1000 with a stock standard "off the showroom floor" model (1979)

Excuse me. My personal car is a Volvo S60. It is hardly a shitty car.

Looks like I have a team to cheer for in the V8s now.

I have never liked and I will never like Volvo. Same goes for Saab and Land Rover.

Just a car make I despise.

Fuck Saab.

Not entirely sure how you can proclaim to have performance vehicles, when as a company, they've never made a RWD car.

Yes, because all great performance cars have always been RWD. (205 GTI, WRX, EVO, Golf GTI, Renaultsport Megane, Clio Cup R, Mini Cooper S, Focus RS/ST, Audi S4...)

Hell, I can't even think of a professional racing series where a Saab has done well...while all those other cars have.

Not much recently, but the Saab 96 was quite successful in WRC in the 60s and 70s.

V8 supercars starting to have a bit of the Super Touring vibe from back in the mid 90s now that Volvos jumped in. Yes it was only 2 litre stuff but man they had some awesome races out at Calder. Plus it was so easy to meet the driver....most of which ended back in V8 Supercar anyway.

Double file restart in V8s resulted in chaos in turn 6.

Guess this is it, shame they decided to pile up where there was only one camera to cover so much happening.
