Earl Bamber will be making his return to the 1000 alongside Heimgartner:

Interestingly this could well mean that Rick Kelly won't be on the 1000 grid since Youlden has been confirmed in the other Kelly/Grove car and the only other spots are left at Matt Stone and Team Sydney (presuming McLaughlin and Premat can get to Australia).

It's also been announced that a couple of dormant RECs are being put up for tender which will probably put the grid up to 25 cars (with Tickford having indicated they'd like to go back to 4 cars) and maybe 26 if someone else decides to expand/join.

Cam Waters on pole for both races today.

SVG only 6th & 7th but I expect him to pass some cars into Turn 4.
