Via work ive been given a pair of tickets to the BSB round at Oulton Park at the end of April!.. bikes are not really my thing but we have decided that we are all going and make a day of it (weather permiting of course)...
coincidetly i was off on weds (my dentist is in the town next to Oulton  )
and there were some bikes testing, so seeing as i have my camera in the car i thought id get some practice in!

That was scary. The stands weren't that far from where the bike bounced. It's already the second bike written off by Brookes in two race weekends, the team principal won't be impressed.
And once again he somehow managed to spoil what would have been a clear Kawasaki win, after Mallory Park last year
LOL..
Truth be told, I had a load of stuff to do at home, household Chores and the like!.. And the fact that the wife was at work all day (She's a Restaurant Manager) and I've got 6 trips to motorracing planned for this month alone (including 2 stopovers) I had to forfeit a meeting somewhere or other to act like a dutiful husband for a change!

There's a bit of an optical illusion going on there, there's quite a lot of room (this is one of the main places I stand when I'm watching at Oulton) it was in no danger of getting really close to the great unwashed!

It still is normal at the Isle of Man TT. This is the same place, fifty years later:

Reminds me of the Bayliss v Edwards battle of Imola 2002. Epic stuff and congrats to Tommy Hill. Shame for John Hopkins who has been the revelation of the season.

I havent really followed the BSB, having only occasionally caught it on Eurosport, but I think I will go to the Knockhill event next year.
