Moto3 race was brillant. Liked how at the end the organisers gave up and made up Cortese's time for the standings.

Think Cortese was more deserving of a penalty for his move on Kent - that's one of the most dangerous moves I've seen in a while.

Moto3 was epic!!!!

Moto2 was good too. Glad to see Brits on the podium.

MotoGP race lost a bit with Lorenzo out so early and Cal getting held up.

Well due to my wife's birthday I dind't have time to post my story about my 24th TT before today. But it def. has been the best TT I ever experienced!

It all started on Monday, when we installed our camper right across the entrance to the track. I posted a video of that earlier in this thread. After that we went into the centre of Assen on wednesday evening to join the TT party there. On thursday I wouldn't be able to join my friends on track before 2pm because of other appointments.

Just before I wanted to leave the house someone called me on m mobile telling me I had won a contest and could collect my weekend ticket at the welcome centre at the track. The contest I entered was a single question with Randy the Puniet as the right answer. As I wanted to be original I answered the question with: The guy with the most beautifull girl of the MotoGP paddock and I attached a picture of Randy on his Playboy Honda with Lauren topless next to him. I think her boobs got me this exclusive pass!

As I arrived at the welcome centre I was welcomed by a guy of Dutch motor magazine "Motor". He told me I could join him in the VIP shuttle van and only then I understood I got a VIP pass with entrance to the MotoGP paddock! Wow what an experience it has been. This pass was provided by Aspar team sponsor Bel-Ray and gave me access to the hospitality area of the Aspar MotoGP team. I was sitting next the riders while enjoying some food or cold drinks.

I got a good look into all the Aspar pitboxes and during 2nd fp I was in the MotoGP pitbox. That's where I saw Randy and Lauren and when she was waiting for Randy to join her after practise was over I had a nice conversation with her about how I got my pitpass and about their life together all around the world. She was laughing hard when she heard that her naked breasts got me my pitpass. When Randy came out of the pitbox he joined us and she suggested we should make a picture with the 3 of us.

I also chatted with Scott Redding about his crash with Elias during fp2 and Jordan from Bel-Ray called Randy Mamola so he could take me on a 1 hour tour around the complete paddock and pit area. Had a nice conversation about Randy's history at Assen ( he once crashed his bike doing a wheelie while riding to the grid ) and the reason I wasn't able to be on track before 2pm. (we had our first echo of our first child, it's just 9 weeks old now :) ) He suggested to take 2 minutes of video every 1st day of the month during the first couple of years. He told it to many famous riders like Neill Hodgson and they all told him afterwards that parents and children liked it very much, as did his own children even at the age of 15 and 17 now.

On friday and on saturday between warm up and races I decided to try to spot some riders and got pictures of Rossi, Stoner, Crutchlow, Capirossi, Luthi, Lorenzo, Spies, Krummenacher, Pol Espargaro and some more. It was a wonderfull once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. Shame I didn't have my better camera with me, only a small digital pocket camera.

The rest of the weekend was also very very good, with 3 nights partying till 3 or 4am. Camping was awesome with lots of action at day and night. And off course we had very good racing in Moto3, Moto2 and Red Bull Rookies, shame about Lorenzo taken out in the 1st corner. I'll try to make a nice compilation video soon.

Pasini hit a mechanic who wasn't paying attention in the pit lane. Both are very lucky and it could have been so much worse. A similar incident claimed Nobuyuki Wakai's life.

Nice Moto2 race so far, lead battle with Marquez, Kallio and de Angelis.

Espargaro had a huge wobble going down the hill behind the paddock but just saved it. Now back up to 5th. Iannone crashed out of 2nd place, don't know what happened tp Scott Redding...

MotoGP is becoming all about money and electronics, rider talent alone doesn't mean any successes. Back in the day, 2003, Jeremy McWilliams but a privateer bike on the front row here, something thats totally unheard of these days.

The electronics are taking away the skill that the old 500cc riders had resulting in about 3-4 riders able to win and the rest field fillers. And after Stoner and Rossi are retired, other than Lorenzo there is no-one who is consistently on the pace and winning. Doesn't bode well for future seasons. There are no true rivalries like Gibernau/Rossi, Rainey/Schwanz, Criville/Doohan etc. etc.

And Rossi is the only true larrikin left after Marcos tragic accident. Marco would have replaced Stoner next season, absolutely no doubts about that and would have given Lorenzo a serious run.

I don't see any real exciting talent coming up in the lower classes. Yeah Marquez is gonna dominate hard, but I hate seeing that.

Crutchlow is awesome, but I don't think he has the talent like guys as Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi. So yeah Motogp is gonna suck for some years to come...
