That duo at Repsol Honda, not the most exciting Line-up. Sure he's talented and def deserves the ride, but it's just a dull line-up to me.

There is a lot of press at the moment about Cal Crutchlow potentially heading to Ducati in 2013. One has to wonder who he would replace.

I wonder why on earth someone would want to go to Ducati.

He deserve's a factory ride. Don't know if it's good to go to Ducati, but surely their slump must be over someday.

With full commitment to the Moto GP project from Audi it is likely that they will at least improve. Surely they will get some extra money from Audi/VW. So it might not be such a bad idea for Crutchlow to go to Ducati.

Quite surprising actually that Audi backs up Ducati for MotoGP. Given how Ducati performs and how the series struggles, I would have expected them to shut the project down at the end of the season with WSBK as attractive alternative.

Well Suzuki was seen testing a bike for 2014, not the CRT shit Aprillia is doing but a proper prototype. So the series will find it's way back I guess.

Honda bike for Simoncelli at Mugello

Image

In Sepang, the aftermath of the tragedy that had struck Marco Simoncelli, the vice-president of HRC Shuei Nakamoto had promised the father of the young rider from Romagna the RC212V that had accompanied him on circuits around the world. The promise was kept at Mugello.

Parents Paul and Rosella, visibly excited, it will return the ‘beautiful’ Mark’s home in Coriano museum dedicated to the pilot. “It’s still nice to be here,” said the father, who was missing from the MotoGP circuits from that bloody Sunday in October.

“Honda will always Simoncelli in the heart”, a replica of Minoru Kato, director of the division of Honda motorcycles in Europe.Simoncelli’s family has also received a gift of a special edition CBR1000RR with graphics Aldo Drudi dedicated to the pilot, as the classical double red stripe on white background in the windshield, jaguar on the tail, and of course the number 58 on the hull.

The bike will be auctioned on eBay in the coming days to raise funds for the Foundation’s Marco Simoncelli, and will be delivered to the winner during the EICMA in Milan in November.

Moto2 answered to your hopes with Iannone?
Espargaro 2nd, Lüthi 3rd and Marquez only 5th
