First pole, first victory and first time leading the championship for Aprilia. And first win for Aleix ofcourse

I literally forgot A. Espargaro never won a 250cc or Moto2 race before either. I think 99% of moto fans were cheering for him to win this race :p

Long time coming for Alex for sure!

Not sure if this has been there since the beginning of this season, but has anyone noticed how the picture of the leader changes to a smiling face as soon as he takes the lead? When Jorge repassed Espargao, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as it seemed like Jorge's serious face changed to a wry smile. But then when Espargaro got back past, the same thing happened (sad Aleix photo to grinning Aleix photo). Found that pretty funny tbh. :D Cool idea by the broadcast team.

I haven't noticed there's a difference between a "happy" and a "serious" face on MotoGP graphics. I suppose it's not as clear cut as the Formula E graphics? ;)

What on Earth is happening to the factory Ducati team? They are getting their arse handed to them by the satellite teams (quite a few times last year at times as well), Miller looks nowhere and Peco looks fast but fragile.

Maybe Miller is part of the problem. He usually has 4-5 good weekends per season and then he wins or at least fights for it. The rest of the season, he´s just not good enough.

Cmon, you can blame Miller for falling off too much but not for the bike just being dog slow. Bagnaia hasn't really been any faster this year, the whole team looks lost. Pramac's kinda looked the better, or at least more fun, place to be the past few years.

Another massive one in the long straight of COTA after a contact between 2 riders.

It happened during the Moto3 FP3. Alberto Surra is conscious btw.

Heavy attrition in Moto2 race. At this rate maybe Antonelli even scores a point

Top 3 in the championship all out as Canet crashed out of the lead.

Arbolino vs Dixon should battle for the win?

Marquez had a pretty bad start

Bastianini wins for the second time this season. Rins & Miller on the podium.

Marquez after that bad start still finished 6th ahead of Quartararo. Yamaha is the one team in deep trouble here, Morbidelli was nowhere again.

Also poor Dovizioso. What´s the point of getting to the start anymore.

The current crop of rookies ain't that impressive. Gardner labored to a Moto2 title in his sixth full season and while Fernandez showed a lot of speed, he'd be better off with a second season in Moto2. Di Giannantonio isn't ready for MotoGP and the less said about D. Binder the better though he had above average race in Indonesia. What happens if Vietti wins the Moto2 title this season? It's not like Rossi will fire his own half-brother and Bezzecchi could well end up as the highest ranked rookie in 2022.

Red Flag in first Red Bull Rookies race at Portimao, somebody crashed at T9 and was sliding in the middle of pack/track and then they changed the camera. Next time they were passing by he was on the ground with medical attention all over him, just hope that nobody hit another rider again

He's conscious and taken to medical centre. It was Filippo Farioli

Also there was a pretty big crash at T1
