In the replay it was obvious he just went wide to cover/block but it didn't work.

Is Maverick going to be on form like this all season?

Mir is the real deal for sure. Too bad he missed it at the last corner but great ride.

Rossi nowhere.

The Ducati doing 225mph down the main straight... 8O

I do kinda wish they could make more durable tires for MotoGP. Every year it seems more and more like winning comes down to who can save their tires better, and the guys who make the first 3/4s of the race entertaining by actually racing will pay for it in the end.

I have no idea. Moto3 is often the best race of the weekend :p

Pedro Acosta wins from pitlane start! Two races in and he's firmly in the title picture at age 16!

Masia totally lost it on the last lap and finished 9th. McPhee 0 pts again.

So, was Miller out of line? Or did Mir kinda deserve that?

The way I see it is, Mir made contact that he could have avoided. Miller didn't like that and rightly so, and he retaliated more aggressively. It could have ended badly for both of them but it worked out I guess.

Stewards determined it was a racing deal and the boys dealt with it on the track... I guess. Personally I thought Miller's retaliation was far too aggressive especially at the speeds they're going coming into the front straight.

Rossi needs to throw in the towel.

The factory Ducatis put the wrong guys on the bikes. They need to swap the Pramac boys for their two.

We have much to see if this Yamaha form is real, or early season flash in the pan. Fabio and Mav both have flashes of brilliance tempered by long stretches of mediocrity... Can they keep it up?

Speaking of, when he is slated to be back? He's only one who can ride that damn Honda.

It was only confirmed that he misses both Qatar races, the next doctor appointment is apparently next Monday. So Portimao is possible.

To be fair, the factury Ducs being outperformed by the satellite team is nothing new. I think there's something about the way they're setting up those bikes that just kills the tires, or the newer upgrades they're running aren't working.

It's been like that for all factory teams the last year! Solution? No satellite team. See: Suzuki.

I would tend to agree with that on the setup. Doesn't Pramac have a factory spec bike this year? Obviously the factory team gets the newest stuff though.

I'm curious to see how Marc is on his return. Hopefully he doesn't run away with it again despite missing two races.
